Feature

Globe valves are used where throttling and shut-off are required. They can also be used for on-off service, but this is generally confined to applications where the valve is normally closed and pressure drop is not important when the valve is opened because it makes high pressure drop. Their flow characteristics permit accurate and repeatable flow control.

Body

The body is made in cast and designed according to HLC'S design program and relevant specifications. For stainless steel or special material specified with API603, no seat rings exist separately to be integral with body. But if you want the separate seat rings we can provide as you want.

Disc

Disc is retained to the stem by a disc nut. The guide bar on the under side of the disc is guided through a bridge cast integral with the seat ring, assuring better arrangement and uniform seating at all times. Long guide hole in seat ring can always make centering of disc.

Bonnet

Bonnet flange and yoke are designed in order to have sufficient strength against stem thrust force. Bonnet flange is circular in all sizes and pressure classes.

Seat Ring

We have three type models of seat ring. Integral with body, threaded in body and seal welded on body are them. They are designed to eliminate the construction disturbing flow. Seating area has proper structure to seal with disc.

Stem

The stem is retained to the disc by a disc nut which allows the disc to rotate. Carefully machined backseat ensures a perfect seal when the valve is open.

Yoke Bush

The yoke bush is designed to withstand the stem thrust force due to the internal pressure, stem packing friction force and sealing force
